Best Childhood Memory

I'm going to be forward and say it. I had the best childhood ever. So picking out a memory has been challenging but I decided to do one with my mom and one with my dad.

For starters my mom is one of best friends and it's been like that since basically before birth. We're tight. Anyways, sometimes my mom would come and lie down with me in my bed to help me go to sleep. We would play a silly game. We would say a line from a movie and then the other would take turns trying to guess the movie. And guess what? We still play that silly game to this day. Whether we are out running errands or doing dishes. We are such dorks together. If you want to be "cool," don't join in because we will sink you down to our complete goofiness. Just a warning.

Now my dad. He's the best. He was the stay at home parent while my mom worked. One of my favorite things that I remember him doing was singing to my brother and I when waking us up for school. Even though he says his voice is not much, I highly disagree- it's amazing. He would always sing "Good Morning" from Singing in the Rain and other melodies. Maybe this is where I got my love for musicals.

Basically my parents amazing and I am so grateful for the wonderful childhood they provided me with.
