Whistle While You Work!

I may not be whistling  (how embarrassing would that be?) but I now have a job!!! I am very, very, happy about the fact!

Here is my story:

No one wanted to hire me for the summer because in the fall I would be moving up to Logan for school. As August was getting closer and closer, and no one wanted to hire me because time was getting shorter and shorter.



I called up a woman in my ward who I knew what the manager of Kara's Chocolate's. I told her my story and asked her if there was anything that I could do. She told me that she just lost her Friday/Saturday evening shift girl and that I could take her place! How wonderful, and such perfect timing!

Today I had training at 1:00 and I worked that shift till 5:00. Tomorrow I officially start and I will start at 5:00 and work till close (9:00).

I know that I am super half-time, but it is money that I did not have before that I desperately need for college!
