Extra Long Weekend With My Family

Blake's Birthday

Friday was Blake's Birthday! I got him a Utah State Game Shirt. A little different. Then we had chocolate cake. Played games then off to bed!


Saturday was a day devoted to games! Literally! The whole day I played games with my mom. Sometimes my Dad or Blake would join in, but it was mainly just me and my mom. It was so much fun!


Sunday, was more games and in the evening we went on a hike. It was fun just to walk around with my family. Then my dad had a surprise for us. We have this huge storage container and he put a fire "pit" on top of it. we all climbed up it and roasted marshmallows on top of the roof. It was so much fun! And the view was spectacular! My Dad is full of creative ideas! Love him!

On Monday we did the last few games picked up and left. Went home and I got a few Labor Day Gifts (that's a first, but I asked for them- you need them the first time you go to college). I got a foam mattress thing to make my bed comfortable and a shower caddy.

And because my mom is the best mom ever, she made another chocolate cake.
The chocolate cake we took to the cabin was all gone and I really wanted some with milk, so my mom made another cake just so I could have one piece with milk. I love her!


Went and watched PollyAnna. A favorite of me and my mom. We have watched ever since I could remember.


Today Haley, Taylor, and I went back to Logan. We got lost along the way, but no worries, we found our way back!!!
I had such a wonderful time with my family!! I love them so much! Now...back to the college life.
