General Conference

General Conference has finally come! 

This is my first General Conference without my family. General Conference is a family thing, even if you don't listen to all the speakers, you are still spending family time together. Today was a little different.

Last night was crazy and I stayed up till 2:00am with Tayla and Chaia watching a chick flick. Then Alyse and I stayed up til 3:00am talking.

Tayla knew that I wanted to watch conference, so 5 minutes till, she comes and tells me that it is going to start soon. I get out of bed and Tayla and I watch conference together. I may not have been with my family, but conference still had the powerful message that it always brings.

When President Thomas S. Monson spoke and announced the new Provo temple, I was so happy! Provo is going to have 2 temples! I was in shock! I think everyone in the Provo area knew that the old tabernacle was going to be built into a new temple, but I did not. I do not go to that side of Provo that often, and I have been gone for about a month now. I was in complete shock! Temples are flooding the earth! And I am loving the blessings that they bring!
