Perfect

I cannot even describe this weekend. Ok, maybe I can. The only word I can think of is "Perfect."

My roommate, Heidie, got baptized on Saturday. She looked so beautiful dressed in white and she was so excited. When she got baptized it was amazing. I was so happy for her. Even though I have not known her for very long she has been such a good friend to me and the light of Christ has always shown in her face. She has been such a great example to me. When she got baptized she could not stop smiling.

After the baptism there was a open house and her house. It was nice to met all her friends and family.

My family was in Sandy for the weekend because my brother tested to get his 2nd degree black belt (he is amazing at karate). Saturday evening I spend time with my family and we talked and went out to eat. It was so nice to see them again. 2 more weeks and I'm going home!!!

When I came back to Heidie's, we went to see the Draper temple. It was so pretty and Heidie was so happy that she can now go inside. We will plan a temple trip sometime! It was so cold. Our walk around the grounds was short, we quickly went back to the car.

Sacrament meeting was Fast and Testimony. When Heidie bore her testimony, it was so powerful. Her testimony is amazing. I love that girl! She set the mood for the rest of the meeting and others were telling their own conversion stories, and one girl even said that she was getting baptized in two weeks!

Had a relaxing afternoon at her home. Took a nap and dinner was so good. It's really funny that you miss eating at a dinner table and I loved home cooked meals. A great change from the junction. Soon after dinner we came back to Logan.

This weekend was unbelievable. I am so happy for Heidie and the choice that she made. I love this gospel more than anything. Her baptism made me realize all the comfort that the gospel brings to my life and how much it has blessed me.

Heidie, I am so proud of you! I love you girl!
